At the Bitcoin 2024 conference in Nashville, Tennessee, cryptocurrency security company Ledger announced the launch of its latest hardware device, Ledger Flex. This product continues to use the E-Ink touch screen display technology found in previous Ledger wallets, offering simpler operation while maintaining high levels of security. Additionally, Ledger Flex integrates an operating system called Secure OS, which allows the device to connect with mobile and desktop applications such as Ledger Live. Ledger Live is already integrated with several providers, including Moonpay, Coinbase, PayPal, and Lido, supporting transactions and other crypto financial services across 70 blockchains, 200 decentralized applications (dApps), and 10,000 cryptocurrencies. Currently, Ledger Flex has a market price of $249 and is one of Ledger's higher-end products. In the 'nano' series, the Nano S Plus is priced at $79, while the Nano X retails for $149. Another Ledger product designed by 'iPod guru' Tony Fadell, the Ledger Stax, is priced at $399; however, due to production delays, shipments to customers did not begin until May.
