Recently, the Eclipse Foundation announced that the Eclipse Mainnet is now open for global developers. Eclipse is the first Ethereum-based SVM L2 network that combines Solana’s high-speed performance and Ethereum’s liquidity advantages. To encourage developers to explore and leverage the potential of the Eclipse Mainnet, the Eclipse Foundation has organized a Total Eclipse Challenge hackathon from August 7th to August 21st. The hackathon features five unique tracks including DeFi, gaming, consumption, Memecoin, and infrastructure, aiming to inspire innovation across various domains by developers. For participants, this is an outstanding opportunity to showcase their technical skills and bring their ideas to life. With a total prize pool close to $49,000, it is expected to attract numerous developers vying for the rewards. The Eclipse Mainnet provides a convenient deployment environment and swift technical support, enabling developers to access RPC connections and utilize the CLI to bridge with Ethereum through official documentation. Looking ahead, Eclipse plans to progress to more advanced mainnet stages before fully opening to the public, first activating the withdrawal function to ensure developers can easily manage their project earnings.
