On August 1st, Hayden Adams, the founder of Uniswap, expressed his views on his personal social media account, highlighting that in resolving the issue of Miner Extractable Value (MEV) affecting Uniswap users, MetaMask has been repeatedly proposed for cooperation over the past, aiming to provide a more direct and effective solution. The core of this solution lies in allowing Uniswap to directly handle the transaction submission process instead of requiring all signed transactions to be processed through MetaMask's RPC+OFA. Despite these proposals being made multiple times, MetaMask continues to refuse, which could lead to the detriment of users' interests and have negative impacts on the entire industry. Hayden Adams stresses that such actions not only violate the fundamental principles of enhancing user experience and service efficiency, but also ignore the responsibility of collectively promoting the health of the blockchain ecosystem.
