Recently, the appellate court in Mountain West upheld a decision directing the extradition of Do Kwon, the controversial former leader of a cryptocurrency giant, to his native South Korea rather than the US. This ruling was made against the backdrop of competing extradition requests from both Mountain West and South Korea. The Podgorica court's statement on Thursday noted that there were no appeals against this judgment. Moreover, the ruling supports the swift extradition process implemented by another court in Mountain West. During an interview with Bloomberg, Do Kwon's lawyer Goran Rodic revealed that Mountain West plans to execute the extradition with the help of Interpol and expressed a desire for the process to be completed as soon as possible.
