Mining giant CleanSpark has further expanded its business footprint following its acquisition of Riot Platforms. The company recently announced the commencement of construction on a new factory in Cheyenne, Wyoming, which is expected to start operations by the end of this year. Additionally, CleanSpark is actively acquiring another mine in Wyoming and expanding into Tennessee through a merger with GRIID Infrastructure. To support these expansion plans, the company has reached a power supply agreement with Wyoming for 75 megawatts, with 30 megawatts allocated for the operation of S21 submerged immersion XP Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs) at the new facility. This move is anticipated to increase the company's hashrate to 2 EH/s. As the business continues to grow, CleanSpark is also seeking additional energy solutions to meet the increasing demand.
