According to the latest data, the Ethereum network burned 17,114 ETH this month, amounting to approximately $56.4 million. Since implementing EIP-1559 back in early August last year, the total ETH burned stands at roughly 4.35 million, totaling around $1.23 billion. It's worth noting that the NFT market transactions on the Ethereum blockchain have recorded a near 50% drop for this month, settling at about $140.3 million. Simultaneously, Bitcoin miners' earnings have also seen a slight decrease, falling from $950.2 million to 1.2%, while the staking income on Ethereum has decreased by 6.6%, dropping to $270.2 million. These figures reflect a weakening of overall activity in the cryptocurrency market, particularly within the NFT sector.
