Etherum ACDE Conference: Developers Focus on Quantum Threats and EIP Integration
Publication Time:2024-08-02 13:36:08
In the 193rd Etherum core developer execution (ACDE) meeting, Etherum community developers focused on several key topics. The meeting primarily discussed the latest testing results of the Pectra upgrade, strategies to address security challenges posed by quantum computers, and potential integration pathways for two critical Etherum improvement proposals (EIPs) - EIP 7212 and EIP 6110. In these discussions, the decision to incorporate EIP 7212 into Pectra was temporarily put on hold to focus on resolving critical issues within the existing codebase. Meanwhile, the meeting emphasized Etherum's preparation against quantum attacks, and proposed the distribution of historical data through EIP 4444 to enhance the system's overall security and reliability. This meeting not only reflected Etherum developers' continuous exploration of technological innovation but also highlighted their forward-thinking approach and collaborative spirit in facing future technological challenges.
