To facilitate the global dissemination and understanding of the Ethereum ecosystem, the Ethereum Foundation has recently initiated an innovative activity called 'ethereum.org Translation Marathon'. This event aims to motivate members of less active language communities to participate in translating the content of the Ethereum official website, thereby enhancing the coverage and quality of the website's content in multiple languages. By implementing this measure, the Ethereum Foundation hopes to attract more international users and increase Ethereum's global impact. It is known that the focus of this activity will be on language versions with fewer existing translation resources, encouraging enthusiasts and professionals in these languages to contribute their strength to enriching the content of the Ethereum official website. Participants can submit their translated works through the official website, covering a variety of content types ranging from user guides to technical documents. Notably, to guarantee the quality and originality of the translations, it is stipulated that machine translation tools are forbidden. This not only helps improve the quality of the translation works but also emphasizes the Ethereum community's focus on high-quality, meaningful content. The application deadline is August 8th, and all submissions will be reviewed and announced during the community meeting on August 29th. Winners will have the opportunity to receive rewards to acknowledge their contributions to the Ethereum ecosystem. In this way, the Ethereum Foundation not only enhances its global online presence but also promotes knowledge sharing and communication within the global cryptocurrency and blockchain sectors.
