The cryptocurrency trading platform Wazirx has officially filed an initial information report (FIR) with the police to address the recent hack incident. This action was taken following a notification by co-founder Nischal Shetty on social media. In response to questions about why they only submitted the FIR almost 20 days after the July 18th hack, Shetty explained that they had reported the cyber attack to the police and informed all users about the situation the day after it occurred. Normally, it takes some time for the FIR number to be obtained after reporting.
