Contrary to some users' concerns, he disclosed that Wintermute has indeed adopted a buying strategy, particularly focusing on the Ethereum (ETH) market. When asked if the purchases were made through over-the-counter (OTC) transactions or direct orders on platforms, wishful cynic did not provide specifics, merely stating that there is no significant difference between the two methods. Data monitoring showed that on August 7th, Wintermute deposited approximately $43,170,000 worth of 17,368 ETH into Binance within a 24-hour period. On August 5th, the company transferred a total of 22,460 ETH via its market-making accounts and multiple trading account wallets to Binance, subsequently moving these funds to the Binance hot wallet.
