This week, key topics were discussed at the 139th ACDC meeting of Ethereum core developers. The main focus was on discussions regarding modifications to the Ethereum Consensus Layer (CL), as well as repair work for Pectra Devnet 2 and preparation for Devnet 3. Additionally, the implementation progress of PeerDAS and new data on Ethereum node distribution were also on the agenda for the meeting. Notably, Pectra Devnet 2 has achieved stable operation, with network participation currently at 85%. However, there are still some unresolved Bugs in the Execution Layer (EL) clients, such as EthereumJS and Erigon. Developers have pointed out that introducing EIP 7688 into the Pectra test could potentially require waiting until the Devnet 5 phase.
