UBS Global Wealth Management has released its latest perspective, predicting that the British Pound GBP/USD may strengthen in the remaining months of this year. This prediction is based on their forecast that the Federal Reserve will significantly cut interest rates by 100 basis points before the end of the year. In comparison, they anticipate that the Bank of England's rate cut could be limited to 50 basis points during the same period. Analysts note that this disparity is likely to attract fixed income investors towards the GBP/USD market, with expectations for the exchange rate to rise to around 1.30 by the end of the year.
