This figure encompasses various cryptocurrencies, with DOGE leading at $5 million, SOL at $67,000, XRP at $30,000, and BNB at $10,000. The significant increase in nominal value reflects growing interest from market participants in cryptocurrency option trading activities. It is noteworthy that 47% of traders held call options, while 53% held put options, indicating a strong preference for short-term trading strategies. Moreover, all expiration dates for the options were within a week, further highlighting market participants' pursuit of quick decision-making and short-term profit opportunities.
