The blockchain platform OORT has announced a significant update, planning to upgrade its mainnet on August 16th. This upgrade will introduce Microsoft servers as validator nodes to further consolidate the stability and security of the OORT network. This means that Microsoft servers will participate in OORT's Layer 1 protocol, 'Olympus Protocol,' as validators within the network, ensuring the validity of transactions and maintaining system operations. Investment institutions of OORT have stated that they will contribute 9.786 million tokens from those about to be unlocked for staking on the Microsoft validator nodes, and this operation is expected to last for 10 months.
