According to the latest statistical data, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the U.S. in July rose by 2.9% year-on-year, marking the first time since March 2021 that inflation has returned to the '20s range, indicating that inflationary pressures are gradually easing. Meanwhile, the core CPI (excluding food and energy) increased by 3.2% year-on-year and 0.2% month-on-month, both of which were in line with market expectations. Since the beginning of this year, the year-on-year increase in the U.S. CPI and core CPI has been declining for four consecutive months, suggesting that inflationary pressures within the economy are being somewhat controlled.
