It has been reported that Anatoly Aksakov, chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on Financial Markets, expressed concern about the digital currency project Hamster Kombat, describing it as a manipulative and deceptive "scam." He believes that such behavior must be stopped because it exploits people's desire to get rich quickly. "In my opinion, this is clearly a scam. It attracts them by manipulating and exploiting citizens' psychology, especially those who do not want to work hard but hope to achieve their wealth dreams with minimal effort," he added. Furthermore, Aksakov criticized activities required for Hamster Kombat users to receive airdrops, stating, "People are easily deceived, and sometimes, all of this boils down to internet addiction." Therefore, he called on the Russian government to take action to prohibit Hamster Kombat operations in the country.
