Recently, the level of Bitcoin network hashrate has been consistently rising, increasing from 612EH/s on August 9th to 637EH/s on August 17th, marking a rise of 25EH/s. This growth occurred following the difficulty adjustment on August 14th, where miners' computational capabilities have significantly enhanced. Concurrently, the network difficulty decreased from 90.66 quadrillion to 86.87 quadrillion, representing a reduction of approximately 4.19%. This effectively alleviated the pressure from the significant 10.5% increase in difficulty observed on July 31st. On the day of the difficulty adjustment, the hashrate reached 624EH/s, implying that around 13EH/s of new hashrate was added within the last 72 hours. Currently, the price of Bitcoin and the low on-chain fees have led to the lowest hash rate price in history, reaching as low as $35 per PH/s.
