According to the latest 13-F filings and data compiled by Coinbase, the institutional holdings ratio of US spot Bitcoin ETF reached 24% by the end of the second quarter of 2024, up from 21.4% in the first quarter. Despite a complex market environment, total assets under management decreased by 13% to $51.8 billion compared to the previous quarter. Overall, however, there has been growth, mainly attributed to fluctuations in Bitcoin prices and the addition of new institutional investors such as Goldman Sachs (holding $412 million worth of ETF shares) and Morgan Stanley (holding $188 million).
