The artificial intelligence platform developer SingularityNET recently announced that it will invest $53 million to build AI infrastructure and develop modular supercomputers to promote continuous innovation and development in the decentralized artificial general intelligence (AGI) field. The first phase of this plan focuses on investing $26.5 million in building a supercomputer system, which includes selecting Ecoblox's modular data center solutions, as well as integrating graphics processing units (GPUs) and processors from companies such as Nvidia, AMD, and Tenstorrent. It also involves using AI server equipment provided by ASUS and GIGABYTE. This high-specification configuration aims to optimize the training process of deep neural networks and large language models, thereby promoting AGI's more efficient continuous learning and self-improvement capabilities. This move marks a significant strategic initiative by SingularityNET in advancing the exploration of AI technology frontiers, with the potential to bring revolutionary progress to the field of artificial intelligence.
