Symbiotic, a staking protocol, announced an important milestone recently. Its core contract has officially been launched on GitHub. This move marks a significant step forward for Symbiotic in promoting transparency and community engagement. By making its code repository public, Symbiotic aims to encourage more developers and community members to participate in building and improving the platform. The company also emphasized that while the core contract is now public, the code may still undergo adjustments based on future development needs. To further enhance the security and reliability of the code, Symbiotic invited five professional agencies including Statemind, Chainsecurity, Zellic, Osec, and Certora to conduct independent code audits. These audits will cover multiple security perspectives to ensure that Symbiotic's core functions meet high safety standards before being deployed in real-world applications. Additionally, Symbiotic revealed that the comprehensive developer network (Devnet) will soon be released, which will provide developers with a more complete testing environment to thoroughly validate the protocol's functions and performance before it goes live.
