Golden Finance Report states that after the Dencun upgrade in March, the transaction failure rate on Layer 2 networks of Ethereum has unexpectedly increased. A research report from Galaxy, an encrypted investment company, indicates that since the upgrade, failed transactions and robot activities on Layer 2 have significantly increased, leading to lower fees. The report mentions that after the activation of EIP-4844, Ethereum L2 saw its daily transaction activity more than double over the following 150 days, reaching 6.65 million transactions per day. However, the increase in transaction volume also led to an increase in transaction failure rates. Research found that the transaction failures might be related to lower L2 fees, which in turn caused an increase in robot activity. The failure rate for Base is 21%, for Arbitrum it's 15.4%, and for OP Mainnet it's 10.4%.
