Recently, the former leader in the cryptocurrency field and former CEO of Mt.Gox, Mark Karpeles, announced the launch of an innovative MPC wallet called Ellip X. This wallet employs advanced Multi-Party Computation (MPC) technology to split private keys into three independent segments, each held by the user, the device, and the Ellip X platform respectively. This design aims to provide higher security, preventing private keys from being controlled by a single entity and thus effectively mitigating common security risks found in traditional wallets. When using Ellip X, users need to go through specific steps and device verification to access their portion of the private key, ensuring both fund security and a more convenient operation experience.
