Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin recently stated on his social media platform that he believes transferring USDC on the Ethereum blockchain is superior to transferring between accounts on centralized exchanges (CEX). According to Vitalik, this advantage stems from network effects and user habits established on-chain, making it easier for users to switch to other options in the future. He further pointed out that individuals can even hold only ETH and trade with users seeking USDC through real-time exchange.
