The well-known Korean cryptocurrency exchange, Aprobit, recently announced that it will close and cease trading services due to changes in the business environment. According to the announcement, Aprobit plans to stop all trading activities on September 23rd, while also committing to keep withdrawal services open until December 23rd. In its statement, Aprobit indicated that this decision is aimed at adapting to the ever-changing market environment and ensuring that all users can smoothly handle assets stored in the exchange even after the trading support ends, avoiding any unnecessary inconvenience. Currently, out of the 22 registered virtual asset service providers in Korea, only half remain operational, reflecting the challenges and uncertainties faced by the industry.
