Lido DAO has announced the approval of a proposal called 'On-Chain Delegation and Representative Incentive Program', aimed at creating a public representative platform to enhance community governance efficiency. This six-month pilot program will offer a total of $150,000 worth of LDO tokens as incentives for eligible active representatives. Token holders still retain full control over all votes and can oversee the decisions made by representatives. The plan is scheduled to officially start on September 19 in Beijing time and will continue until March 18, 2025. To ensure the fairness and effectiveness of the incentive mechanism, a Representative Oversight Committee will be established to evaluate the performance of representatives and distribute rewards fairly. To participate in this program, representatives need to have over 2 million LDO delegated on Aragon and Snapshot, and they can receive up to $15,000 worth of LDO every three months.
