Golden Finance reported that BNB Chain announced the execution of the Bohr hard fork upgrade on the BSC mainnet on September 26. This upgrade includes four key BEP proposals designed to optimize network performance and enhance decentralization. Among them, Proposal BEP 341 is particularly noteworthy, allowing validators to consecutively produce blocks, significantly boosting the efficiency of the validation process. Additionally, Proposal BEP 402 generates signatures by filling in missing fields in the block header, thus strengthening transaction security. Proposal BEP 404 clears miners' history during validator set switching, maintaining fair competition. Lastly, Proposal BEP 410 introduces an agency mechanism for validators, increasing the network's flexibility. The Bohr hard fork upgrade represents a significant advancement for BNB Chain, not only strengthening the chain's scalability and security but also responding to the ecosystem's needs through fairness. With the successful deployment of the Bohr hard fork on the mainnet, BNB Chain will further solidify its position as a leading blockchain platform.
