The cryptocurrency trading platform Mudrex recently obtained an order from the Delhi High Court in India, requiring the Department of Telecommunications to shut down up to 38 fraudulent websites impersonating the Mudrex name for scam activities. This ruling was made after Mudrex received complaints from approximately 15 customers who reported being deceived by such fraudulent websites. The Delhi High Court made the decision the day after the petition was submitted and gave relevant departments one week to execute the order. Edul Patel, CEO and co-founder of Mudrex, stated that based on preliminary estimates, as many as 1,000 retail investors may have been defrauded, with total losses expected to exceed $50,000.
