The Spacecoin project has announced an ambitious plan to provide high-speed internet services worldwide, particularly in underdeveloped countries and regions, through the launch of nanosatellites. This innovative initiative aims to leverage blockchain technology to manage data transmission and enable users to pay network fees through encrypted cryptocurrency, thus achieving cost-effective global internet coverage. The first satellite, CTC-0, is scheduled for launch in the fourth quarter of 2024. Spacecoin's goal is to establish a global 5G network to reduce the digital divide, promote global internet access, and accelerate the digitalization process.
