Bitcoin mining company MARA Holdings, Inc. recently released its unaudited BTC production and miner installation update for August 2024. The report shows that the hash rate increased to 35.2 EH/s in August, a 11% increase compared to July. Despite the increase in hash rate, BTC production and block production in August decreased by 2% and 3% respectively compared to the previous month, with a specific number of 673 BTC extracted. As of August 31, the total amount of unrestricted BTC held by MARA reached 25,945 BTC. It is worth noting that MARA did not sell any of its held BTC in August.
