Following the闪电贷 attack in March 2023, Euler Finance announced the launch of Euler v2, a development toolkit designed for deploying ERC-4626 vaults. The goal is to significantly enhance the safety and adaptability of decentralized finance (DeFi). A key innovation of Euler v2 is its modular design, enabling users to create customized market environments with different risk parameters and collateral types. Additionally, this version supports non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and tokenized real-world assets (RWAs), expanding the DeFi ecosystem. Euler v2 has undergone stringent audits by 12 well-known cybersecurity companies and has established a $1.25 million bug bounty program to incentivize community members to uncover and rectify potential security issues. Euler Finance CEO Michael Bentley emphasizes the protocol's dedication to protecting user assets, noting the substantial improvements in security following the recovery of all funds after the $195 million attack on Euler v1.
