Programs for privacy-focused programmable networks like Aleo have revealed their incentive plans and airdrop recipients, intending to reward those who actively participate in various activities. The eligible participants encompass ambassadors, Setup Ceremony, Testnet 2, the first 100 rewards, Credits Mined, GitHub PRs, Pool Tester, Pool Operator, Testnet 3, prover rewards, deployment rewards, beta testnet testing, Validator rewards II, ZPrize 2022/2023, zkML Initiative, Enigma, etc. Upon the launch of the mainnet, these individuals will have access to claim their reward tokens. The tokens will be unlocked for use after a year-long locking period and will primarily serve for deploying applications, executing transactions, and paying associated fees. Earlier, Aleo introduced a beta version validator incentive program, inviting testers to obtain Aleo credits by addressing the Coinbase challenge and producing zero-knowledge proofs. The official provided 1 million credits for the use of validators, with rewards given to users holding at least 1000 mainnet credits on Aleo; users with insufficient credits did not qualify for rewards.
