In a panel discussion titled ‘Gazing into the Future: Linking Global Opportunities through RWA’, Zhu Da-Zhi highlighted the need for investors to delve into new asset classes within the RWA domain. He stressed the importance of transparency and efficiency in decision-making, arguing that it helps mitigate risks associated with information asymmetry. Zhu Da-Zhi also mentioned that tokenization will bring significant opportunities for banking and the financial sector. Investors are primarily concerned about two critical issues: compliance, or how to provide sufficient confidence to investors under different regulatory frameworks; and product innovation, hoping for comprehensive services from product issuance to sales. Looking ahead, Zhu Da-Zhi expressed an optimistic view on the prospects of RWA development, while emphasizing the positive role of smart contracts in addressing challenges in the financial industry. Currently, the financial industry is experiencing rapid growth, and the trend towards tokenization is expected to expand swiftly.
