ApeCoin recently released its transparency report for the first quarter of 2024, detailing the main financial status of the cryptocurrency as of March 31, 2024. According to the report, the treasury held approximately 326 million APE tokens as of the reporting date. In terms of capital management, the report noted that 255,060 APE tokens were allocated for accounts payable, and 59 million APE tokens were reserved for grant programs. Notably, there was no new inflow of APE tokens during the quarter, while 1 million APE tokens were outflowed, mainly for operational expenses, including 148,627 APE tokens used to support community events. Additionally, the report indicated that the foundation disbursed a total of 20.6 million APE tokens. The report also mentioned that payment processes for 20 previously approved AIPs (governance proposals) and one AIP approved by the Special Council are proceeding as planned. During this period, the community approved an additional nine AIPs and began related outflows. This transparency report aims to keep all token holders informed about ApeCoin's financial status and how its funds are being used, thereby strengthening public trust in its management decisions.
