US Prosecutor Rebuffs FTX Executive Ryan Salame's Accusations: Michelle Bond's Prosecution is Fair and Justified

According to Jinse Finance, the US federal prosecutor has rebutted the accusations made by FTX executive Ryan Salame, clearly stating that they have not violated the terms of the plea agreement reached with this former FTX executive, which stipulated stopping the criminal investigation of Michelle Bond, Salame's long-term partner and the mother of his children. The prosecutor emphasized that they never made any form of commitment, whether formal or informal, regarding the prosecution action against Bond, which was entirely fair. In a 32-page memorandum, the prosecutor presented to Judge Lewis Kaplan of the US Southern District Court of New York, requesting to dismiss Salame's recent request aimed at enforcing the conditions of the plea agreement or revoking the plea to avoid sentencing. The reasons given were that his actions were 'shameless and selfish, attempting to undermine the plea and conviction... and disrupt the legitimate prosecution of Michelle Bond.' The relevant hearing is scheduled for September 12, 2024.
