According to a report by Golden Finance, the digital project head of the Russian largest securities market, Moscow Exchange (MOEX), Nikolay Trunichkin, has recently announced that MOEX will not be involved in Russia's cryptocurrency trading pilot plan. This decision comes at a time when the State Duma, the lower house of parliament, passed an act in July allowing for digital currency trading on exchanges under central bank supervision. Contrary to MOEX's stance, the St. Petersburg Stock Exchange (SPB Exchange) has indicated its intention to actively participate in this pilot project.
