The Web3 protocol ARPA Network, built on the EigenLayer, is set to introduce a native staking rewards mechanism for its native token ARPA starting in September. Business Development Director Jason Zhao shared that if all goes well, the staking rewards program is expected to be implemented by the end of September; otherwise, it will be launched no later than October. This initiative is one of the key strategies ARPA has taken to encourage more users to participate in staking activities. ARPA CEO Felix Xu also mentioned that the company is testing an incentive plan that would provide additional EIGEN rewards to stakeholders and operators. This marks the first time EigenLayer's third-party active validation service (AVS) is paying fees to stakers to protect and validate the network, indicating that the internal AVS EigenDA has already begun compensating stakers with wETH.
