Rebecca Cheong, the head of UBS Group's US equity derivatives strategy, in her report to clients pointed out that she expects the S&P 500 Index to fall by at least 10% from its peak within one month. In her analysis, she mentioned that although recent economic data has been disappointing, even a slight disappointment could trigger a significant market correction. Therefore, she suggested that investors adopt strategies to protect their assets, specifically including purchasing tail hedges through ETFs to mitigate potential losses. Additionally, she recommended several specific investment options, including the iShares Russell 2000 ETF (IWM), Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF US), and the iShares iBoxx High Yield Corporate Bond ETF (HYG), as defensive investment choices.
