The founder of the Bitcoin scaling solution Fractal Bitcoin, Lorenzo, addressed concerns regarding potential security vulnerabilities raised by the StarkWare ecosystem manager on social platform X. Lorenzo explained that the Docker storage repository, which contained the bitcoin.conf file, was actually intended for internal rapid testing purposes. He further clarified that this repository should have been removed during last month's test network activity, but unfortunately, the Bitcoin configuration file, bitcoin.conf, remained in it. He stated that the latest release version of Fractal Bitcoin still remains at v0.2.1 without any changes. To prevent similar situations from happening again, Lorenzo suggested that interested users generate their own configuration files for testing. Through this clarification, the Fractal Bitcoin team aims to alleviate public concerns about its security and also reminds developers and users of the differences between internal testing environments and actual deployment environments.
