On September 13th, the TON Network announced the launch of a system that imposes fines on validators in response to network disruptions caused by an influx of DOGS transactions. This system uses the checkloadall command in Lite-Client tools to analyze the number of blocks processed by validation nodes within a specific timeframe. If a validation node processes fewer than 90% of expected blocks, it is deemed underperforming and subjected to a fine of 101 TON, equivalent to the node's earnings per round. The fines are allocated for rewarding other validation nodes and users who file complaints (approximately 8 TON), while also covering network fees. This measure aims to enhance network stability and improve user experience.
