Leading Spanish cryptocurrency trading platform Bit2Me recently announced that it has successfully obtained approval from the National Securities Commission (CNV) of Argentina, allowing it to operate as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP). This marks the entry of Bit2Me into the Argentine market, providing cryptocurrency trading services to local users. In March, CNV opened registration for VASP applications, aiming to provide legal status to companies in the crypto industry wishing to do business in the country. So far, 79 companies have been approved by CNV's process to become VASPs. Prior to this, Bit2Me completed a $15 million funding round on June 15th, led by Investcorp, with participation from Telefónica's investment arm Telefónica Ventures, Stratminds VC, Cardano, and YGG Fund among other institutions. This funding will support Bit2Me in further expanding its global presence and strengthening its influence in the crypto sector.
