On September 14th, Karel Vuong, co-founder of Treasure, shared an extensive post on the X platform explaining the reasons and motivations behind TreasureDAO's move from Arbitrum to ZKsync. Vuong acknowledges the team's enthusiasm for Arbitrum and their contributions to its development over the past three years. However, he states that since the game catalyst voting period, there have been changes. He clarifies that financial incentives were not the primary reason for Treasure's departure from Arbitrum, but rather, after promoting GCP (Game Content Platform) within the DAO and actively pushing its growth, the team became disappointed with the lack of support they received from within Arbitrum. Vuong emphasizes that ZKsync offers superior scalability, throughput, cost-effectiveness, gaming potential, onboarding ease, and interoperability with other platforms, all of which better assist the project in achieving its vision of widespread adoption. This is the primary reason the team chose ZKsync.
