According to Golden Finance's report, Meta has announced that it will restart AI model training in the UK following a regulatory halt. This AI training will be based on the publicly shared information of adult users on Facebook and Instagram platforms, including posts, comments, photos, titles, etc. It is noteworthy that Meta emphasizes that this action only involves information of users aged 18 and above. Previously, due to data privacy issues, the Irish Data Protection Commission ordered Meta to suspend its plan to launch an AI assistant in the EU in July, leading Meta to temporarily stop releasing AI in the EU.
